Speech by Dzhusupbekova N.S., Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic with a presentation "Development of methodology and institutionalization of anti-discrimination and gender expertise of teaching materials in Kyrgyzstan", within the framework of a seminar organized by the European Union. The seminar was attended by representatives of government agencies, representatives of project partners, team leaders and experts of EU projects, representatives of international donors and EU Member States. The aim of the seminar is to examine ways in which EU programs can contribute to promoting a gender transformative approach. The seminar also discussed further actions within the framework of EU gender policy, in particular, the continuation of gender mainstreaming in 2020 in EU-funded projects, achieving the goals of the EU Gender Action Plan for 2016-2020, alignment with the KR Action Plan on achieving gender equality for 2018-2020. As well as creating synergy with the Spotlight Initiative.

A video lecture by Z. Kochorbaeva, which presents a brief historical overview of the promotion of gender policy in the Kyrgyz Republic (with a focus on the political participation of women), as well as current trends and challenges for gender equality.
