n February 2, 2020, Baktygul Islanbekova, a representative of the “DatkAyym” project, took part in the program “Emnege” on NTS TV channel, where the draft law on amendments to some legislative acts was discussed. The bill proposes to establish the requirement of gender composition of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, namely to approve the composition of the Government, taking into account the representation of no more than 70% of persons of one gender. During the discussion, B. Islanbekova noted the necessity and importance of adopting this provision to increase the political participation of women.
