Meeting of the team of the project “HERo – New narratives towards a gender equal sociеty” with the head of the book publishing sector of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

One of the points of activity of the Project “HERo – New narratives towards a gender-equal sociеty” is assistance in the implementation of mechanisms of antidiscrimination and gender expertise of CBM, and improvement of gender competence of education workers. The Project team of DatkAyim held a meeting with the Head of the Book Publishing Sector of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Chynara Osmonovna.
During the meeting, Chynara Osmonova reported that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, realizing the importance of institutionalization of mandatory anti-discrimination and gender expertise of standards and training materials, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1096/1 of September 16, 2019, the Regulations “On the procedure for conducting antidiscrimination and gender expertise of training and methodological complexes” and Regulations “On the procedure for forming a list of experts for conducting antidiscrimination and gender expertise of training and methodological complexes”.
The project is ready to assist in the implementation of mechanisms of antidiscrimination and gender expertise of training-methodical complexes. Also, the project will provide training to increase the gender competence of educational personnel.
The project “HERo – New narratives towards a gender-equal sociеty” is implemented by the NGO “Agency for Social Technologies” and the Center for Creativity Danilo Dolci with the support of the European Union.
